latentcall Wow, this is beautiful music. Really nice top to the end of the year. Feels like floating through the bluest waters you’ve ever been in. Totally relaxed. Favorite track: Lighthouse.

Lost Tribe Sound The ear-feel of the this album is so incredible. You can tell that a lot of love went into this key ingredient.

Matt Schwerin The illuminating beam from your lighthouse has reached my boat and I am thankful. This, and Agnes, shall be my winter soundtrack this year. Beautiful and comforting.

Michael Zinkowski This could loop for 3 more hours and I wouldn't complain.

archimboldi I came for the sounds, I stayed for the creative method. This album channels the cold and solitude of a coastal winter but adds hopefulness and warmth. It's exactly what I need this season to help me appreciate winter more. Perhaps my favorite album of the year. And the fact that Bruckner's sounds spring from a broken clarinet (see liner notes)? Just wow.

about

Hello…

…this began with a recurring dream of a beacon transmitting signals out over a dark and foggy ocean... sounds broadcasted blindly, to destinations unknown... I suppose this is what it feels like to put music on the internet…

…this act of releasing music online is so inherently impersonal. We will never meet, you and I…

...so I wanted to make something that could cut through this separation and find true empathy. Where some real connection could be possible, in spite of the distance between us…

These songs don’t change. They rise from fog and recede back into fog. They play on loop, like waves hitting the shore, each one slightly different from the last. The ocean has always given me a sense of calm and connectedness. Maybe these songs will pass that on to you…

My hope is that this music might help people, especially those who are feeling lost or alone—

I hope it finds you well, wherever you are. May it be a guiding light through the fog and through the darkness — something to let you know you’re not alone.

With love,

Jane
